"Success is a decision, not a gift"

"During a fifteen year career at the top of international athletics, I was privileged to work with some of the most inspirational sports and motivational coaches in the world. I travelled the world analysing the techniques of the greats to help me identify the traits that made someone truly successful. With three world records and thirteen championship medals including four consecutive European golds and three Olympic medals I like to think that some of my hard work paid off.

After retiring, I was approached by a number of national companies to give them the benefit of my experience and help them to maximise their own performance.
With a business career of my own though, my passion has always been to help owner-managers realise the potential of their own business.

It has been a great success joining forces with business expert Malcolm Palmer in 2006. The third member of our team is Dave Sacree who joined us in 2007. Dave’s military background is leading teams of otherwise ordinary men in challenging and hostile environments and his story easily converts to a business context. 

We are really excited about how Javelin has moved on now working with Ixion Holdings Limited jointly running business conferences across the country. Our events are aimed specifically at owner-managed businesses with between 10 and 100 employees. After the morning conference and networking event, we run a range of afternoon master classes for business who wish to explore some of the topics in more details."
