Team Development

This one day workshop aims to address gaps in team skills by focusing on the role, confidence and work-satisfaction of the team members.  It is generic and therefore relevant for all team members within a small to medium sized business.  The content can be adapted and pitched to suit the needs of the business owner.

Workshop objectives:

• What is meant by teams and teamwork
• How groups of people become teams
• How to work together as a team
• What motivates and demotivates
• The role of communication in shaping team effectiveness
• Difficulties within a team caused by different sorts of behaviour

Team Development is ideally suited for between 4 and 10 attendees and delivered as two x four-hour half-day workshops.  Each of the six sessions are activity based and designed to bring out learning points in an experiential way.  On completion of the two day workshop attendees will have developed enough awareness by the final activity to apply their skills and knowledge consciously and have the opportunity to develop as teams in their own right.

The workshop is also suited to team building particularly if a team has just formed or if new members have just been recruited.
