Success is a decision, not a gift...

About Us

Malcolm Palmer

Malcolm is the founder of A4G Business, Tax and Financial Solutions, which grew from its humble beginnings as a small accountancy practice into one of the fastest growing professional firms in the South-East.

Professional firms are notoriously difficult to grow and tend to splinter and fragment at regular intervals but A4G’s uniquely systemised approach to its work has given its senior advisers the freedom to spend more time for face to face meetings with clients.

Developing the tools for his own business, led Malcolm to form A4G Software LLP. The suite of products sold by this business includes the highly popular Improve and Grow Consulting program to help owner-managed businesses identify what they need to do to get everything that they ever wanted from their businesses.

"Business owners know more about their own business than anyone else," says Malcolm. "Our advisers don’t pretend to have the answer to every problem a business will face but they do have all the right questions. Taking an objective approach to a problem or challenge almost always results in finding a solution".

With over 20 years business experience, Malcolm has received numerous testimonials including a recent one from a company that increased their profits by £150,000 following a one-day profit improvement session.

In September 2006, Malcolm joined up with Steve Backley OBE to run the very first Javelin Conference entitled “Success is a decision, not a gift”. As Chairman of Javelin, Malcolm is the first speaker at all events and delivers ongoing support to attendees.

Malcolm’s presentations at Javelin and other events include: “Where are you going and how will you get there?”  a powerful reminder of how small changes can make huge differences to the success of your business and perhaps your life. “If your business can’t function without you, you don’t have a business, you have a job” was inspired by systems guru Michael Gerber whose input has helped Malcolm to harness the power of systems in his own and his clients businesses.
